Well, I have discovered that I have no life. Yes, it's really sad. Darion has only been gone for about a week now, and I have been totally miserable. I didn't realize until now that my life completely revolved around him. To put a stop to it, I took myself out on a date last night - did you know you could do that? - Date yourself? Yeap, I took myself to the bookstore - got a good time travel romance and then took myself to a nice little Bistro for dinner. While eating dinner, I read and listened to the nice jazz musician that was playing. After that I took myself to the movies. It was a nice evening - I make a good date. Now I plan on finding some fun, single things to do and get out of the house a couple times a week. Watch out Charlotte - Here I come!

A word from Obama

I am very excited to say that my class and I received a thank you letter today from Senetor Obama. I feel like a big wig now. He was thanking us for the letters that the students wrote to him. I have to make sure to send a copy of it to my father (Republican), just to irritate him for the fun of it (smile).

Well the school year is almost over. The last day of school is May 30th - 26 school days left! (which is about two weeks earlier than CMS schools). Darion leaves for Florida for the summer about two weeks after that. WOW, a whole summer with no child. What will I do with myself? I wonder if I will have withdrawals not having him around. Well, since he's getting on my nerves right now I'll probably enjoy the quiet for the most part.

I'm definitely planning on doing some scrapbooking, working on my weight, and I'm considering taking a yoga class or something. The beach wouldn't be bad either.

With realitiy setting in, most of all I will probably be getting a part-time job for the summer. Yuck!
